When using the feature to get a merged version of the logged files using the feature `Monitor Directory`, I keep loosing focus and the logs from the oldest log files keeps getting in focus instead.
Also if I have a vongigured dashboard, the view is chnaged from `Log Data View` to `Default Dashboard` instead.

To disable dashboards appearing on file load, try updating your application settings: https://www.logviewplus.com/docs/dashboards.html
The default is currently to automatically load dashboards, but this should probably be changed to better support directory monitoring scenarios.
Can you please clarify when you see the old file being selected? Is this after a new file is added and the merge is updated?

We have just released LogViewPlus 3.0.7 as a BETA release to resolve the issue with loading dashboards automatically when using a directory monitor. This could be an issue for existing users and 3.0.7 only has minor changes from 3.0.6. We will therefore be pushing 3.0.7 as a major release soon.
Thanks for bringing this problem to our attention.

Dsiabling 'Focus on dashboard...' fixed the greedy dashboards.

That's an alternate solution.
'Focus on dashboards' is still the default configuration option, but it will no longer be triggered when opening a log file by rule (such as a Directory Monitor trigger). This will hopefully improve the user experience for others.
