I received a license key from Proofpoint for LogViewPlus, which I have been using for over a year. Recently, I switched to a new laptop, so I uninstalled LogViewPlus from my old laptop and installed it on the new one. However, when I tried registering with my license key from Proofpoint, I encountered an error saying, 'New installs prohibited,' even though the license key is valid.
Could you please assist me in setting up my licensed version of LogViewPlus on my new laptop?
Thanks, Ruth

Hi Ruth,
It sounds like the problem is that support for your license has expired. LogViewPlus is licensed per user, so you can install LogViewPlus on as many machines as you need, but only while the support contract is active. New installs are prohibited after support expiry. Once registered, LogViewPlus will work indefinitely on the target machine.
You can check the status of your license key.
Hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any further questions or issues.

Thank you Toby for your quick response, I verified your suggestion, checked my license key, and received the following message: "The license key is valid, but support expired on 21 Mar 2024. New installs prohibited."
Could you please guide me on how to renew the support period?
Thank you, Ruth
