Dear,
1) Is it possible to add tgz file support to LogViewPlus ? Actually, it is only supporting gz and tar. Unfortunately, all our server logs are zipped with tgz
2) the zipped logfiles contains many kind of files (including for example pcap files, etc.), which are not meant to be analysed by LogViewer. So it is possible to get rid of unwanted extensions in the tree ?

Hi Sami,
The problem here is the file extension. LogViewPlus can handle *.gz, *.tar, and *.tar.gz correctly. Annoyingly, we seem to have overlooked *.tgz.
Having unknown file types in the archive might be an issue. What we can do here is add a configuration option to ignore file types which have not been pre-configured.
I will get this fixed for the next release. Thanks for bringing this problem to our attention!

Hi Sami,
I just wanted to let you know that we have now released LogViewPlus v2.4.36 as a BETA release.
This release includes support for TGZ files. We have also added a new configuration option to ignore files which LogViewPlus has not been configured to understand. Please see the new 'Open Settings' configuration:

Hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any further questions or issues.
