Hi Team
I'm not a massive fan of massive log files given somtimes the box your on only has a plain ole text editor, of which a 1gb text file takes forever to load. For this reason I split my logs into 10mb files.
Because of this when I use the folder monitoring feature I loose my filters each time a new file is automatically added and merged. Is it at all possible that in a future release filters could be tied to the idea of the merge log file and not to the instance. I assume what is happening is each time a new file is automatically added a new merge view is created of which therefore looses my nice filters I had all setup!
This tool is exactly what I was looking for and this is the only place in which the app falls short for my needs. Would love to get this fixed!
Cheers, Michael.

Hi,
I have just done some testing and can confirm that this is a bug. This is core functionality for us, so this is a serious issue. We will get this fixed for the next beta release which should be out sometime early next week.
In the meantime, what I would suggest is copying your filters to the clipboard and then pasting them into Notepad to create frequent backups. Alternatively, you can save the filters as templates. I realize that these work arounds are poor alternatives, but it may be better then recreating the filter trees. https://www.logviewplus.com/docs/save_and_share_filters.html
Thanks for bringing this problem to my attention!
