This release contains updated 3rd party libraries which should help with this issue. If you experience any further problems, please do let us know.

Thanks again for reporting this issue,

Toby

RE: Unexpected Application Crash

The problem appears to be with one of our 3rd party component providers. Googling also suggests to “Suspect environmental problems if there is no obvious candidate, misbehaving malware scanners are notorious. If it repeats very poorly then suspect hardware problems like soft RAM errors.” This implies it may be machine related.

If you are interested in the details, you can find out more here.

What I can do is upgrade our 3rd party libraries in the next release. It is possible that our component providers have already fixed this issue.

Aside from that, the next step would be to gather a crash dump. This would involve modifying Windows crash settings and transferring a large file - so I don’t think that is worth considering at this time.

The only other thing I can suggest is to rollback to the previous version and see if the issue is version related, or possibly due to a change on your computer.

Sorry I don’t have a more solid solution. This is a difficult problem.

Toby
