LogViewPlus locks up when old log files are purged from a merged log

LogViewPlus gets unresponsive and show an empty dialogue window stating.

Cannot Open File

when the oldest log files are purged by the system during maintenance windows .

It also keps consuming memory and is currently using 10 GB of RAM (so I need to kill it now).

Hi Dennis,

I think this might be related to the other issue you raised. If LogViewPlus is running out of memory and the CPU is running hot, the application may be resource starved. I would suggest we address the other issue first and then see if this issue persists.
