LogViewPlus 2.2.16 is now available!

We are excited to start the year off with a brand new release that directly addresses the biggest problem that new users have with LogViewPlus - the learning curve for configuring PatternParsers. LogViewPlus does not have control over the format of the log files so it needs configuration to do its job well. This configuration can introduce an annoying learning curve for users who are trying to quickly achieve a task.

Version 2.2.16 addresses this problem by attempting to automatically configure a parser. This configuration is not perfect, but we have found that it quickly gives users a very good parse while also lowering the learning curve.

We have tested this with a lot of different log files and usually the parse is good enough that all the user needs to do is rename the columns.

We are also excited to (finally!) introduce SMTP alert notifications.

While the documentation on these notifications is still pending, the alerts are pretty easy to use if you are familiar with our popup alerts.
