I have attached a WireShark capture from a UDP device and want to capture/log the highlighted text to parse and perhaps act on.
It is connected locally on a switch and looks like it broadcasts the packer every second.

Can this be done with this program and how?

Hi JM,

Looking at the data in the screenshot, it does not seem to be a log entry.  LogViewPlus defines a log entry as a date plus a message.  Without a timestamp, there is not much LogViewPlus can do with the data.

If you setup the connection correctly, LogViewPlus should mirror the data from the network to a local file in your temp directory.  That might provide some value, but LogViewPlus will not be able to parse the file unless the log entries have a timestamp.  Wireshark may be a better tool if you just want to mirror the data to a file.

Hope that helps,

Toby
