LogViewPlus 3.1 is now available with a built-in dashboard for analyzing Java GC log files - and it's awesome! Java GC log files are information dense and difficult to interpret. Now with LogViewPlus it only takes a few seconds. Java GC log files are also a great example of the kind of solutions that can be built with dashboards. Check out our latest video.



Java GC may steal the headline, but this is one of our largest releases ever with tons of enhancements. Some of the highlights include greatly improved high DPI experience, performance enhancements, and several LVP SQL bug fixes and enhancements.

One last feature I wanted to mention is our new multi-select context menu. Traditionally, LogViewPlus has supported only having one view selected at time. In v3.1 it is possible to select multiple views using the CTRL key. We then provide a new context menu for working with multiple views at the same time.



The new context menu is particularly good at for merging and closing multiple items.

What’s next?

In 2024, we expect to continue our focus on product quality while increasing the number of available built-in dashboards. We are currently working on a Windows Event Log dashboard which we expect to be available in Q1.
