Hi LogViewPlus-Team,

do you see a chance to implement support for PML files (procmon logs).
Download Link for procmon: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/procmon
Currently there is a way to export them to CSV or XML but a native file support would make the whole process faster. :-)

Thanks,
Matthias

Hi Matthias,

I am not familiar with the ProcMon log file format and a quick Google search didn't turn up much information.  I assume the data is stored in a binary format?  Do you know of an available API?

FYI, we have plans to add ETW event monitoring in the near future.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/etw/about-event-tracing

This will be released in the next few months.  Most of the work has already been completed, but before we release, we will need to upgrade LogViewPlus to .Net 4.7.2.

Thanks,

Toby
