When opening a log file ...

Is there a way to OPEN the .LOG file, and have a Text Filter apply at the same time?
Doing this would save time because sometimes we want to open a .LOG file and search for a specific Text Filter.

Hi,

There are a few options here:

1. The easiest option is to create a Filter Template.  This can then be applied after the log file is opened.

2. If you are opening the same target log file, you can use a Workspace.

3. Finally, you may be able to use a Rule Filter.  You will need to play with the rule settings to get the behaviour you want.  I would suggest creating your filter and then applying a pretty print rule set to Default.
