Collapse list of messages

Hi,
i would like to request an enhancement in the UI.

From time to time I have some bunch of messages that represent the "normal use case" inside a log entry. When I analyze a log I know for example that these 100lines represent the good case and that I don't have to look at them any longer. Therefore it would be nice to have the possibility to select successive lines and somehow "collapse" them to one entry.

Sorry - I am not clear what you are trying to achieve here.   What do you mean by "collapse"?  Have you tried excluding the log entries?  How are all of the "good" log entries identified - is this just a filter match?
