A few highlights:
- Grid column settings can now be saved in merged log files and message parsers. We’ve also added a new UI to help manage columns more easily.
- The Elapsed column can now be used in SQL queries (we also addressed an export bug).
- Added logarithmic scale as a new option in reporting charts.
- SQL support has been extended to handle the TIME data type, and the CONVERT function now accepts style parameters for formatting.
- Default log reader encoding is now UTF-8 instead of the Windows default — which should help with compatibility.
- LogViewPlus will now check available memory before attempting to open large files.
- Better support for network shares.
- More consistent behavior when comparing log entries or using the Parse Message command.
- Navigation panel and message size settings will now persist between sessions.
- Pretty printing for XML/JSON now optionally supports escape characters.
- Some tweaks to how shortcut keys are handled.
That's all for now! We hope you find the update useful, and we look forward to your feedback.
