Hi!
I am in the trial phase for logview plus, and quite impressed, nice product.

What I am try to accomplish is a remote access via sftp to linux-machines only based on keys.
In our company we are not alloewd to use "username/password" combinations, only username/sshkey
I put my private-key in to the "Advanced SFTP"-Formular, also the password of the key. In the "Basic"-Formular, naturally Server Name, Port and User Name.
Password empty, because there is no password on that destination-machine at all. hit the Test-Button and getting a
"Unable to connect" and the description (I translate it from German) "This Value is not allowed to be NULL - Parametername: password" If I put something random or the Key-Password in in I get "A supplied password or username is incorrect"
Yes true, because there is no password.

It seems to me, that LogView does not honor the inserted Key and tryes still to connect via username/password.
Because if I have a view into the log of the sshd on that machine I see a try for password-login not a Key-Communication

2023-03-22T07:52:44+01:00 xxx.xxx.xxx sshd[4342]: Failed password for abcdefg from 9.8.7.6 port 56806 ssh2

Did I missed something?
Any clues are welcome.

Cheers from Germany
