Hi there,
I'm currently investigaton LogViewPlus for development of my openHAB Home Server, so probably just a NewBee question:
I managed it to get 2 log-files merged, sorted and trailing, but I don't get the Menue Items for Logger Filter and Rules enabled. I wanted to change column and custom colors and shown in the videos but can't do it due to the greyed out items. I added 2 screenshots, showing part of the merged logs and the greyed out items.
Thanks for helping out

Hi,
Thanks for taking the time to evaluate LogViewPlus.
Rules are disabled because rules are always based an underlying filter. First create a filter, then you will be able to create a rule. The rule will apply only to log entries in the filter.
I am not sure why the logger filter is disabled. How did you define your log parser? If you included the
logger specifier
(%c) in your parser configuration, it should be enabled. If you define the Logger column with a
string specifier
(%s{Logger}) it will be disabled.
Hope that helps,
Toby
