A feature I would find useful: When selecting a log entry within a filter, I would like an option to see adjacent few log entries before and after that log entry from either the original log file or the parent filter. With minimum clicking. Can be in the same bottom window where the raw log data is displayed or a keyboard shortcut that opens a new window.

I completely agree that we need to do better here and we will be spending more time on this problem before the next release.  I am still not 100% sure how this will be resolved, but I will post back here when I have more information.

Hi Blaž,

I just wanted to let you know that we have now released LogViewPlus v2.4.36 as a BETA release.

This release contains a new configuration setting which allows you to specify a number of records to be displayed before the current log entry.  When navigating between views, this helps ensure that the previous log entries are visible.

I don't see where these lines are shown. Can you give an example?

You will see it as you navigate.  My setting is currently set to 10 rows.  If I navigate to lookup a row, LogViewPlus finds the row and puts 10 additional rows above it.  This helps maintain spacing so I can easily see the log entries written before and after.
