Auto tagging known issues, can this be done with rules?

My scenario is that I'm analyzing the same set of log files from many different machines. As I discover known issues, id like to create a library of known problems that will auto highlight or annotate or show in a report after logs are imported and parsed. I think I can get partway there with rules but I feel like that's not part of the intended purpose. Hopefully this makes sense, I'm happy to elaborate further.

Correct.

No - but that's a great idea.  The problem is that the filters 'may' display information later.  If the file is in tail mode for example.  We could maybe add a new command to 'clear empty filters'.  That's something to think about.

Thanks for the feedback - glad to hear you are finding LogViewPlus helpful.  Smile

Yes - LogViewPlus is a passion project and your analysis of the market is exactly how I see things as well.  We have some plans to integrate AI in a way that does not share log data, so I think there is still plenty of room for improvement.

We collect reviews on TrustPilot.  If you have a moment, it would really help if you could repost your review there.
